The Buffalo Bills are coming off a dominant 35-0 victory over the Miami Dolphins. They had a disappointing Week 1 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers but bounced back against the Dolphins. The Bills now look forward to their Week 3 opponent, the 1-1 Washington Football Team.

Washington is fresh off of a 30-29 victory over the New York Giants. It was Taylor Heinicke's first start for Washington, following Ryan Fitzpatrick's week one injury. Heinicke conducted himself well against the Giants, doing enough to get them the victory. However, they now face a more difficult opponent in the Bills, who are considered contenders in the AFC. With that said, here are four bold predictions for the Bills week three against Washington.

Bills Week 3 Predictions

4. Stefon Diggs goes over 120 yards

Stefon Diggs is one of the best wide receivers in the game and led the league in receiving yards last season. Diggs hasn't put up elite numbers thus far but should have a great matchup this week. Last week, Diggs had four receptions for 60 yards and a touchdown. It wasn't the expected performance coming into the game, but the Dolphins had their elite cornerbacks on him.

This week, Diggs won't be up against a top cornerback, which should free him up for a big game.

3. The Bills win by 10 points

The Bills looked strong against the Dolphins and should have another outstanding performance this week. They have a stout defense to back up the elite offense led by Josh Allen. This well-balanced roster should have a field day against Washington.

Washington has an excellent defensive unit, but the offense lacks experience with Heinicke under center. The Bills need to take advantage of this and take control of the game early.

2. The Bills force multiple turnovers

While Heinicke has been successful in the games he's played in, Washington's offense is still inconsistent. This season, the Bills look to have an elite-level defense, which will be difficult for Washington to go up against.

Last week, the Bills forced three turnovers against the Dolphins, including two fumbles and an interception. This game could go down the same way as the Bills were facing the Dolphins' backup quarterback Jacoby Brissett and will be facing Heinicke this week. Look for the Bills to be all over the field making plays defensively on Sunday.

1. Josh Allen has a strong performance

Following a season where Josh Allen was runner-up for MVP, many expected Allen to dominate once again. That is not the case through the first two weeks, as Allen has struggled to find a rhythm. Allen's completion percentage has dropped significantly, going from 69.2 percent last season to 56 percent this season. He has only thrown for 449 yards and three touchdowns thus far and has thrown an interception.

This week, Allen needs to have a bounce-back performance to prove that he is still an elite quarterback. He is going up against an elite defense, but Allen has the capability and weapons to take over the game.

This Bills-Washington matchup will be a fun one to watch on Sunday. Both of these teams have playoff aspirations, but the defending AFC East champions look more ready for the task. If Buffalo has another phenomenal performance, they will be right back in the conversation for one of the best teams in the league.
