The Chicago Bulls have been one of the biggest surprises in the NBA this season. They entered Sunday night's matchup against the Indiana Pacers atop the Central Division and having won two straight games. One of the biggest reasons for the team's success this year has been the play of forward DeMar DeRozan.

DeRozan scored 24 points, with three rebounds, three assists and two steals Sunday night. The Bulls won their third straight game, 113-105. The win improved the Bulls record to 20-10. They pulled within a game and a half of the Brooklyn Nets for the top seed in the Eastern Conference.

DeRozan's play has been fantastic this year. It's been so good that the Bulls fans felt they needed to express just how good they thought he is playing.

With DeRozan at the free throw line, the fans began chanting “MVP, MVP.” He certainly has earned it, especially of late.

It is DeMar Derozan's first season with the Chicago Bulls. He is averaging over 26 points per game, on 50% shooting from the field. That is not very common for a small forward to shoot the ball that well.

He is also pulling down over five rebounds and dishing out four assists per game.

DeRozan spent the first nine years of his career with the Toronto Raptors. He was known as a good scorer, but lacked defense and didn't show the propensity to take over the game. He then spent three seasons with the San Antonio Spurs before joining the Bulls prior to this season.

DeRozan is having his best statistical season of his career at the ripe age of 32.
