The Chicago Bulls snapped a 10-game losing streak on Monday by defeating the Cleveland Cavaliers by a final score of 104-88.

It was the Bulls' first win of 2019. Chicago is now 11-36 on the season and 6-19 on the road.

Shooting guard Zach LaVine led the way with 25 points while shooting an efficient 9-of-16 from the floor and 3-of-6 from beyond the arc. Power forward Bobby Portis scored 15 points off the bench and second-year stretch forward Lauri Markkanen added 13.

Beating the lowly Cavs is not something to be proud of. Cleveland entered Monday with the worst record in the NBA. They are the only team in the league without double-digit wins.

However, it's good to see the Bulls finally get in the win column in 2019, and they're 3-0 against the Cavs this season.

Chicago is now 6-17 under Jim Boylen, who took over for Fred Hoiberg on Dec. 3. Chicago entered Monday with the second-worst offense in the league, as the team was averaging just 101.0 points per game.

There are going to be some fans in Chicago who are upset the Bulls beat the Cavs since their chances of getting the No. 1 pick dwindled ever so slightly. There are still a lot of games left to be played, though, and the Bulls are well on their way to getting a high pick.
