Forget Saul Goodman and the last season of Better Caul Saul, Chicago Bulls star DeMar DeRozan made an even better guarantee and fulfilled it—and more.

After an abysmal performance in their Game 1 loss, DeRozan assured reporters that he will bounce back in Game 2. That's exactly what he did, leading the Bulls with a 41-point barrage over the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday to even up their first round matchup in the NBA Playoffs.

Not only did he walk the talk, but DeRozan also joined Michael Jordan and Derrick Rose as the last three players to score 40 points in a postseason win by the Bulls, according to ESPN Statistics & Information. Curiously, all of them happened on a road game.

It's the latest milestone carved by the 32-year-old DeRozan in his maiden season with the Bulls. He has been much maligned in the past for his choke jobs in the NBA Playoffs, and the worries once again arose after scoring just 18 points on 6-of-25 shooting from the field in Game 1.

But in the series equalizer, he was back to his All-NBA form, registering a new postseason career-high on 16-of-31 shooting from the floor. He also added seven rebounds, four assists, and two blocks. He also got plenty of help from Nikola Vucevic and Zach LaVine with 24 and 20 points, respectively.

DeRozan will only get even more confident as the series shifts to the Windy City on Friday. While he didn't make another guarantee after Game 2, it's all good, man.
