Before Zach LaVine tore his ACL exactly one year ago, he was set to become one of the league's most explosive players. LaVine dazzled crowds with his gravity-defying vertical and three-point shooting. LaVine, who was traded to the Bulls in the off-season, is set to become his team's franchise cornerstone.

There are some doubts and concerns about how LaVine will develop after his ACL injury, especially since his game relies on athleticism and quickness. Apparently, these concerns don't bother Bulls head coach Fred Hoiberg, per Dan Santaromita of NBC Sports.

“He's still trying to find his rhythm,” Bulls coach Fred Hoiberg said in the video above. “I think he's turning some pretty darn good looks and turning them into tough shots and tough contested mid-range shots. He's had stretches in the last few games where I think he's shown what he can do,” Hoiberg said. “Now it's about getting his rhythm and timing and getting him to understand when we produce good shots he's got to raise up and shoot those. He can get a shot at any time he wants. He's just one of those special players who can do that.”

Against the Clippers on Saturday, LaVine scored a team-high 21 points on 6-18 shooting. This season, he is shooting 38.9 percent from the field and 35.7 percent from the three-point line, which are some of the worst numbers in his career. Hoiberg makes a valid argument. LaVine hasn't played professional basketball in a year and will need some time to return to his pre-injury form. Hopefully, the young combo guard can turn his season around moving forward.
