Scottie Pippen just couldn't stop himself from taking a shot at his former Chicago Bulls teammate Michael Jordan.

Pippen and Jordan's beef has been a major talking point since the release of “The Last Dance” documentary in 2020. Ever since then, Scottie has been taking digs at His Airness whenever he gets the chance to.

That's the same case on Saturday when Pippen appeared in an interview on the Trash Talk Production podcast where he was asked about why he never won the Defensive Player of the Year award. The Bulls legend then pinned the blame on the media people who only had their eyes on Jordan.

“I think they were too busy watching Michael,” Pippen said while smiling.

Truth be told, it is really bizarre Scottie Pippen never won DPOY. While he was acknowledged for his defense, being named to the NBA All-Defensive First Team eight times and to the Second Team twice, the honor has just eluded him. He even led the league in steals in 1995 and even that was not enough to get him the accolade.

But then again, blaming the media and Michael Jordan might be far-fetched. After all, Jordan won just one DPOY award in his career, which is in 1988 during Pippen's rookie year.

It looks like Pippen just really hate Jordan at this point, and as things appear, the former Bulls teammates aren't going to patch things up any time soon.
