When it comes to Chicago Bulls guard Zach LaVine, he still has not played a single game yet this season. However, if it were up to him, that would not be the case.

According to an article published by Joe Cowley of the Chicago Sun-Times, LaVine would be playing right now if he had his way.

“I know I feel like I can play right now,” LaVine said.

The Bulls are being very cautious as to when Zach LaVine should return from his ACL surgery, as the guard was originally rumored to come back in early January but the Chicago front office is instead targeting around the third week of next month.

“I’m just doing everything I can to get back,” LaVine said. “I feel good, but it’s a lot of people making decisions in this. So I have to trust them and they have to trust me, then we have to get to a point to where I’m out here playing.”

Before he suffered his ACL injury, LaVine made 47 starts last season for the Minnesota Timberwolves and averaged 18.9 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game.

As of late, the Bulls have been on an absolute tear, continuing to win games. Since Dec. 8, Chicago has won nine of its last 11 contests and has improved its record to 12-22.
