Whatever Zach LaVine is doing, it's working. The Chicago Bulls star is having the best season of his career, and the 23-year-old guard is even playing well enough to generate some early All-Star buzz. He's averaging 27.4 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game, which would all be career-high marks.

But LaVine definitely has some strange quirks, one of which is his love for candy. His love for candy is so great that he sometimes keeps candy in his sock when he plays. No, seriously.

“If you see in the game sometimes, I like to keep candy in my sock. Yeah, like I put a Starburst or something in there. While I'm playing I'll take it out and eat it at halftime. Yeah, that's just some random weird little things you guys might not know.”

That's definitely a weird little quirk, and now Bulls fans will have to keep an eye on LaVine's socks to see if he has any Starburst squirreled away for halftime.

My only question is whether the Starburst gets sweaty in his sock during the first half. You would have to think it does, but since it's his own sweat, does that make it okay?

I can't answer those questions, but if sock Starbursts at halftime are helping LaVine have a career year on the court, he should stock up on the yellow, orange, and pink Starbursts (red is the worst). His Bulls are struggling, but Zach LaVine is having a sweet season so far.
