Canelo Alvarez and Caleb Plant couldn't wait to get in the ring to trade punches, so much so that they started a brawl during the promotional event of their fight on Tuesday.
As the two fighters faced each other for the usual promotional shot, they could be seen uttering some words to each other. After which, Canelo shoved Plant, who then retaliated by throwing a punch before absolute chaos ensued. While they were able to be stopped by their own people and the staff, it wasn't before they punched each other.

Unfortunately for Caleb Plant, though, it seems he was hurt during the heavy exchange of blows. According to Mike Coppinger of ESPN, the 29-year-old suffered a cut under his left eye that was bleeding to a great degree–as he then noted that such gash would result to a postponement in fights in normal instances.

The heated exchange didn't stop there, though. After their highly physical encounter, the two then went on to hurled insults at each other. Plant, for his part, called Canelo Alvarez a “drug cheat” in reference to the Mexican's doping controversy in 2018 before his fight with Gennady Golovkin.

Alvarez, meanwhile, filed a bold warning to his American counterpart as he emphasized he will let his fist do the talking come November. The two boxers will fight in a super middleweight unification bout at MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas on November 6.
“I'm just going to say something. You're not on my level. You will see on November 6. You don't want to find out, I promise you,” Alvarez said, per Daily Star.
With their ugly press conference fight, fans can certainly expect their official bout to be just heated and bloody, or even more.
