The Hockey Hall of Fame announced its Class of 2022 on Monday, and among the inductees were a trio of Vancouver Canucks legends. The iconic Sedin twins, Daniel and Henrik, as well as longtime goaltender Roberto Luongo were among the five individuals inducted into the Hall of Fame, along with Daniel Alfredsson and women's hockey star Riikka Sallinen. After hearing he'd be entering the Hall along with his former teammates, Luongo took to Twitter to congratulate the Sedin brothers on the accomplishment and to declare the trio as the “best line in hockey.”

Both Sedin twins played in Vancouver for 17 years. They each joined the team in 2000-01 before retiring in 2018. Both Henrik and Daniel Sedin were two-time All-Stars and they each won the Clancy Trophy. Luongo joined their Canucks side in 2006 after his five-year stint with the Florida Panthers. In Vancouver, Luongo made one All-Star Game and was a two-time Vezina Trophy finalist. He played with the Canucks from 2006-13 when he was traded back to the Panthers, where he finished out his career in 2019.

All three enjoyed prolific NHL careers. Despite never having won a Stanley Cup, the Sedin brothers have won gold medals on both the Olympic and IIHF stages, representing Sweden. Luongo also has Olympic Golds under his belt, serving as the goaltender for Canada.

The three former Canucks are set to be honored with an induction into the Hall of Fame, and it'll be extra special to see them being immortalized side by side. Canucks fans are in for an absolute treat during the 2022 Hockey Hall of Fame induction, as three of their franchise greats will be honored in what should be an amazing ceremony.
