There's been some intrigue surrounding Kyler Murray and his relationship with the Arizona Cardinals this offseason. With the first set of offseason workouts slated to begin, the two sides apparently will not be working in tandem.

According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, The Cardinals quarterback is set to skip out on the upcoming voluntary workouts organized by the team. However, it's also reportedly no cause for alarm.

As the Cardinals begin their offseason conditioning today, QB Kyler Murray and many of the teams veterans will stay away and train on their own rather than attend the voluntary workouts, sources say. This has been communicated as the plan for several weeks.

The fact that Kyler Murray isn't working out with the team isn't exactly indicative of anything in particular. But Cardinals fans would certainly prefer to see him working out with the team especially amid an offseason filled with potential trade rumors.

Kyler Murray was named to his second consecutive Pro Bowl while leading the Cardinals to another improved record. Arizona went from five wins in his rookie year, to eight wins in his sophomore year, then topping that with nine wins last season while missing the first three games of his career at that.
