The new NBA season took off on a very bad note. Basketball fans were greeted Tuesday with a showdown between the Boston Celtics and the Cleveland Cavaliers to kick off the 2017-18 campaign, but a gruesome ankle injury suffered by Gordon Hayward turned everyone’s excitement into horror.

Hayward’s injury set off a wild Twitter storm propelled by thousands of people expressing a mix of shock and pity at what just transpired. Among them is porn star Mia Khalifa, who sent out a distasteful tweet that didn’t sit well with Anna Horford, sister of Celtics big man Al.

This is a very bad attempt by Khalifa at bringing attention her way. She composed a stupid reaction around somebody else’s misfortune, and it was only right for Horford to respond with a scathing remark that should put Khalifa in her place.

Khalifa and ex-NBA player Gilbert Arenas recently announced a partnership to host an online talk show, and if this is the kind of takes that’ll come out from that show, I think we’ll pass.
