I'm going to be real here: the Crying Jordan meme is not funny. It has never been funny. There will never be a time where it becomes funny.

But, nevertheless, it is still employed constantly these days and will likely be a part of social media forever.

Take the Los Angeles Chargers, for instance.

After defeating the Baltimore Ravens by a score of 23-17 in their AFC Wild Card Round matchup on Sunday afternoon, the Chargers decided to have some fun with the Ravens on their Twitter account, using, you guessed it: the Crying Jordan.

Actually, it became old the very first time it was used, but hey; whatever.

With the win, Los Angeles now moves on to face the New England Patriots in the Divisional Round next weekend. The Chargers last battled the Patriots in the playoffs in January 2008, falling to New England in the AFC Championship Game.

Los Angeles won 12 games this season, representing its best mark since going 13-3 back in 2009. This is also just the second playoff appearance for the Chargers since then. They also qualified during the 2013-14 campaign, but lost to the Denver Broncos in the Divisional Round.

Los Angeles is still looking for its first Super Bowl title.

The Patriots did not have to play this past weekend, as they nailed down a first-round bye courtesy of an 11-5 record and a 10th straight AFC East Division crown, which enabled them to earn the No. 2 seed in the conference.

You can catch the action between the Bolts and the Pats at 1:05 p.m. ET next Sunday.
