Basketball Hall of Famer Charles Barkley is making no friends in the Bay Area with his comments about Golden State Warriors fans before Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals.

After a few days of battling with Bay Area hecklers, Chuck officially went on the offensive against Warriors fans. After being asked by Kenny Smith why he thinks the Dallas Mavericks are the better team, the Round Mound of Rebound pulled no punches when talking about his disdain for Dub Nation:

“I don't think they're the best team. I just can't pick the Warriors because I hate their fans. Their fans are obnoxious… I just wanna see these people suffer.”

Tell us how you really feel, Chuck.

Earlier in the week footage surfaced of Dubs fans heckling Barkley from behind the set of NBA on TNT, where Barkley was quick to clap back with the suggestion he would go to the fan's house and… well… have a “date” with their mother.

Warriors fans have made few allies over the last seven years whilst the team has been on their incredible run of success having played in five of those seven NBA Finals, winning four of them. The only loss of their five appearances came against LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers where the Warriors would blow a 3-1 series lead. This season, the Warriors lead the NBA's Western Conference Finals 1-0 against a scrappy Luka Dončić and a Dallas Mavericks team that clearly has the endorsement of one of the NBA's all-time greats.
