Colin Cowherd is not the only one who can't wait to see how the game between the Kansas City Chiefs and New England Patriots unfolds this weekend. There are quite a few fans and media members who are going to be keeping their eyes peeled on their TV's during the game.

While the Patriots may not be the team that they once were, they are still led by Tom Brady and Bill Belichick. Beating that duo has never been easy and the Chiefs will have their hands full. That being said, Cowherd has a strong opinion that the Chiefs are going to be victorious at Arrowhead Stadium.

On The Herd with Colin Cowherd, the host gave his reasons for why the Chiefs should send the Patriots home when everything is said and done.

Cowherd certainly made some good points, although a couple of them won't make much of a difference. For example, the extra day of preparation won't mean much of anything to Belichick and Brady's team.

There is no question that Patrick Mahomes was the best quarterback in the NFL this season. He took Kansas City and the NFL by storm this year and has shown no signs of slowing down. New England will have their hands full trying to keep him in check.

As for home-field advantage, that has always been a major plus for teams come playoff time. Arrowhead is going to be loud and that could affect the Patriots' offense. Brady has played in a lot of loud stadiums against hostile crowds and quieted them though.

All of that being said, this week's matchup is going to be fun to watch. Kansas City may be favored by Cowherd, but the Patriots are embracing the underdog role for once.
