During the AFC North showdown between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Browns, there was an altercation that involved Myles Garrett grabbing Mason Rudolph's helmet and swinging it at his head.

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes must have been watching the matchup as he shared his reaction to the brawl on his official Twitter account.

It is not common to see a sequence unfold that features such a poor decision during a professional sporting event quite like what Garrett chose to do in the heat of the moment. That incident will surely result in him receiving a significant suspension.

After the game, Garrett acknowledged that he ‘made a mistake' and attributed it to the fact that he ‘lost my cool.' He also stated that the situation shouldn't have escalated quite like it had and blamed himself for allowing it to reach that point.

“I made a mistake; I lost my cool,” Garrett said, via Charean Williams of NBC Sports. “It’s going to come back to hurt our team. The guys who jumped in the scrum, I appreciate my teammates having my back, but it shouldn’t have gotten that far. That’s on me.”

Like Patrick Mahomes, many are shocked by what Garrett chose to do and rightfully so. The expectation is that he will receive a significant suspension and given that the Browns have already played 10 games, it could very well end his 2019 season.

An announcement from the NFL regarding an expected suspension for Garrett is likely to come in the near future.
