The Kansas City Chiefs dominated the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday. With a playoff spot clinched, this team just needs to stay on top to secure the number one seed in the AFC. However, Tyrann Mathieu fell to injury but seems to be fine after his hilarious response to a fan. Patrick Mahomes reacts to Honeybadger's tweet.

After the game, a worried Chiefs fan took to Twitter to ask Mathieu if he is okay. The star safety responded, comparing himself to Wolverine, one of the most famous superheroes in the world. Wolverine, of course, is known for the spikes that come out of his hands, but he's able to quickly regenerate from any injuries sustained as well.

It's a rather clever way of telling the fan base to not worry. The Chiefs will need Tyrann Mathieu on the field if they hope to go on a deep playoff run this year. Regardless, his answer caught the attention of Patrick Mahomes, who found Mathieu's tweet hilarious.

The Chiefs are in good spirits right now. Not only did they dominate the Pittsburgh Steelers, but they're the first AFC team to clinch a playoff spot. After a rocky start to the season, Kansas City has fought their way back to the top of the leaderboards in the NFL. It's been an impressive turnaround, as Mahomes and his team aim for a third consecutive Super Bowl appearance.

We'll see how it plays out, as the postseason will be extremely stacked this year. The Tennessee Titans are getting healthy at the right time, the Buffalo Bills have bounced back to retake the AFC East, and the Indianapolis Colts are one of the hottest teams in the league right now. That's not even mentioning the numerous other franchises contending for the top seed in the conference.

The Chiefs will be given a run for their money. However, if Tyran Mathieu can return, Kansas City will remain as one of the most dangerous teams in the league.
