It looks like Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes will have a busy summer following the American Century Celebrity Golf Championship. It will not all be training his arm strength and everything, though, as he might need some voice lessons as well.

In an interview with Justin Timberlake on Sunday during the celebrity golf tournament, the Chiefs signal-caller threw a Hail Mary of sorts to the 40-year-old singer after Timberlake mentioned he will be working on his record in the coming weeks. Mahomes apparently wanted to be part of the new single, and Justin was more than open to the idea.

Touchdown for Mahomes, surely.

It will surely be interesting to see if this collaboration will push through. After all, who doesn't want to hear how Patrick Mahomes would sound like singing alongside Justin Timberlake? Imagine the Chiefs superstar getting that NSYNC vibe!

As Timberlake mentioned, his record is 80 percent complete, so there won't be much opportunity for Mahomes to contribute. But hey, it's not impossible if Timberlake says it.

Then again, with only a few weeks left before the 2021 NFL season starts, Mahomes might not have a lot of time in his hands to focus on other things. We're not saying he needs A LOT of voice lessons, but he could definitely use one.

All jokes aside, here's to hoping a Timberlake-Mahomes collab really happens–if not now, then in the future.
