The Detroit Lions will host the Kansas City Chiefs this Sunday, but that didn't stop Quandre Diggs from complimenting Patrick Mahomes. Ahead of Sunday's anticipated matchup, Diggs says Mahomes will “break every record in NFL history”  by the end of his career.

“To me, Tom Brady is going to be the best ever for my whole life, that's just how it is,” Diggs said. “But the way Pat's going, he's going to break every record in NFL history if he keeps this up.

The Lions will be tasked with trying to contain Mahomes, who isn't showing any signs of slowing down after his MVP season in 2018. Both teams are currently undefeated but what the Chiefs quarterback is doing right now is uncanny.

While Kansas City has won all three of their games, Mahomes has thrown for 1,195 yards, 10 touchdowns, and zero interceptions. As a result, the flashy quarterback is on a torrid pace for 6,771 yards and nearly 57 touchdowns in 2019. So much for there being a drop-off from his stats in 2018.

Additionally, Mahomes has posted jaw-dropping numbers in his first 20 games in his career. In his first 20 games, the gunslinging signal-caller has combined for 6,292 yards and 60 touchdowns (both most in the NFL in that span).

This Sunday, Mahomes will play against the Lions for the first time in his career. Along with it being the first time he faces the Lions, he will also play the first game in his career that takes place indoors.

As good as he's been while playing outdoors, Mahomes may even be more dangerous when there's a roof over his head during the game. Diggs and the rest of Detroit's defense will witness firsthand how talented Mahomes is in Week 4.
