Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill is still suspended from the team, but he is expected to rejoin the team once training camp kicks off. Hill met earlier this week to meet with the NFL to talk about the allegations that Hill was physical with his son, and even though he is no longer under investigation by the police, the NFL still can hand out a suspension.

According to Nate Taylor of The Athletic, most inside the Chiefs organization believe that some type of punishment will be coming to Hill, but the expectation is that he won't be suspended for longer than four games.

Several officials from the Chiefs believe Hill could receive a suspension — one predicted a maximum of four games — from the NFL as soon as next month, as his threatening comments in the recording could be considered a violation of the league’s personal conduct policy. A possible next step for the NFL is to ask Hill to visit league headquarters in New York City to meet with Commissioner Roger Goodell, who reviews and determines suspensions for violations of the policy.

Goodell said back in March that once the league got all the facts that they would decide what the next steps would be.

Johnson County District Attorney Steve Howe said that he believed a crime had been committed, but they didn't have enough evidence to prove beyond a reasonable doubt who did it.

Now that Hill has interviewed with the NFL, the process should start to move faster, and a suspension could be handed down at any point.
