The Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl parade isn't starting until 11:30 local time, but some fans who arrived early got to see some unexpected fireworks.

According to KRON4, a car drove through the barricades of the parade route, which started a police chase. The police used a pit maneuver on the car, and eventually arrested a suspect.

There hasn't been an update on if anyone was injured, but the situation could have been a whole lot worse. The fans lining up for the parade aren't far from the road. If the driver would have decided to go rogue and drive off it, it could have been a scary situation with a lot of tragedy. Hopefully, the rest of the day will go off without a hitch for the Chiefs and their fans as they celebrate what could be the start of a dynasty.
