Bill O'Brien might have overthought this one. The Houston Texans head coach, after going up 24 points early in the first half of his team's AFC Divisional Round matchup with No. 2 Kansas City Chiefs, went for a fake punt in his own territory and was stopped, giving the Chiefs possession on the turnover on downs. Shortly afterward, last year's NFL MVP in quarterback Patrick Mahomes threw a five-yard touchdown pass to star tight end Travis Kelce to narrow Houston's early margin.

Kelce's first touchdown against the Texans on Sunday shrunk the Chiefs' deficit to ten points.

The tight end would later score another touchdown via Mahomes after Houston fumbled on their next play after the kickoff, giving the Chiefs momentum. It's now a four-point Texans lead in the second half.

Kelce is Mahomes' most consistent target as a pass-catching tight end. Andy Reid's team has already made up a lot of ground lost in the first quarter to the Texans after the early 50-yard touchdown from Kenny Stills, blocked punt recovered for a touchdown, and muffed punt from the Chiefs that led to a Houston score.
