The Los Angeles Clippers announced their preseason schedule on Tuesday, which is set to begin on Oct 1. The five-game slate will include two matches versus the Toronto Raptors in Honolulu, as part of the team's Hawaii Classic. It will be held at the Stan Sheriff Center with the second game on Oct. 3.

The team will then return to the Staples Center to close out their preseason with three games at home against the Portland Trail Blazers, Sacramento Kings, and their cross-town rivals, the Los Angeles Lakers.

These games will be very helpful for the entire team as it will allow them to run some of their sets in real-game situations. For the players, they will have a feel of competitive action once again before they start next season. A number of different combinations are also expected to be fielded in by Doc Rivers and his coaching staff to see which works best during different stages of a ball game.

Following their last game on Oct. 13, the team will have less than two weeks to make some adjustments during practices and also identify which players will make their final rosters, leading up to tip-off beginning on Oct. 25.

The team's regular season schedule is expected to be announced sometime next month and will allow the fans to mark some marquee matchups on their calendars ahead of time.
