NBA legend Dwyane Wade took to Twitter to share his thoughts about the Clippers' blowout victory over the Warriors on Thursday night.

Simply put, Wade says the Clippers “are who we thought they were,” which is an homage to the late Dennis Green's famous postgame moment with the Arizona Cardinals in 2006:

Even without the services of Paul George, who is expected to miss roughly 10 games of action as he recovers from shoulder surgery, the Clippers are proving to be a dominant side. In fact, LA is already 2-0, with wins over the new-look Lakers and the Klay Thompson-less Warriors.

Kawhi Leonard has played a big role in the Clippers' early success. The Klaw logged 21 minutes in Thursday's 141-122 victory, notching 21 points on 9-of-17 shooting from the field (1-of-3 from beyond the arc), a team-high nine assists, five rebounds and a plus-minus of plus-27:

“I thought he started doing it in the second round last year,” Clippers head coach Doc Rivers told ESPN, referring to Leonard's ability to find the open man. “In the first round he was just dominating and then I thought as each round went on he started playmaking more and more, but what he's doing now is on another level.”

The Clippers will be back in action on Saturday, as they're scheduled for a matchup in Phoenix against the Suns. Tip-off inside Talking Stick Resort Arena is set for 10:00 p.m. ET.
