Montrezl Harrell found out the Los Angeles Clippers got Kawhi Leonard and Paul George like everyone else did.

Harrell says he was at home with his brothers when his phone started to blow up. Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports was the first to report that Leonard was signing with the Clippers.

ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski tweeted shortly after that the Clips were trading for George from the Oklahoma City Thunder:

With Kawhi Leonard and Paul George in the mix, the Clippers are legitimate title contenders. Doc Rivers guided the team to 48 wins last season without an All-Star on the roster. Now, he has two of the best players in the NBA at his disposal.

Montrezl Harrell is a big part of what the Clippers do on offense. He averaged 16.6 points, 6.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game last season while shooting 61.5 percent from the field and 64.3 percent from the free-throw line.

Harrell played in all 82 regular season games and was third in the Sixth Man of the Year voting. He and Lou Williams, who won the 2019 Sixth Man of the Year Award, anchor the Clippers' bench.

A lot of experts see the Clippers as the 2019-20 title favorites. The West is loaded from top to bottom, though, so LA is going to have its hands full every night.
