Los Angeles Clippers guard Patrick Beverley is facing a suspension for his dirty shove on Phoenix Suns star Chris Paul on Wednesday night. Nonetheless, Beverley has addressed the issue and apologized to CP3.
@CP3 emotions got the best of me last night gang. My bad wasn’t meant for you. Congrats on making it to the Finals. Best of Luck 🤞🏾

That's a classy move from the Clippers veteran. Paul really got under his skin late in the fourth quarter in Game 6. The Suns star seemed to say something that irked Pat Bev, which resulted in a dirty move on Beverley's part as he blindsided him.
The Clippers were just frustrated as a whole. After all, they were blown out by Phoenix in a 130-103 loss. LA struggled to really get it going offensively, with Paul George registering just 21 points. CP3, meanwhile, absolutely torched Los Angeles, dropping a game-high 41 points as he heads to his first NBA Finals ever after 16 years in the league.
To be honest, the Clippers fought hard in the series considering they didn't have their best player in Kawhi Leonard. While Ty Lue's squad didn't go all the way, there's certainly lots to be positive about after a tremendous season.
While Patrick Beverley is typically a gritty, hard-nosed player, it is good to see him realize his wrongdoings here and wish Chris Paul the best of luck in the Finals.
