The Los Angeles Clippers recently unveiled their new City Edition jerseys that they will be using for the upcoming 2020-2021 NBA season. No other player would be perfect for a reaction video as star swingman Kawhi Leonard stayed on-brand and only uttered a few words in response to seeing the team's new threads, via Clippers on Twitter.

Aiming to go in a different direction apart from the usual Purple and Gold that is often seen in Los Angeles, the Clippers unveiled their new jerseys drenched in black. The new rendition is an alternate version of the team's City Edition uniforms used last season which were primarily in white.

As per the league website, the inspiration for the jerseys came from a world-renowned artist in Mister Cartoon, who was born and raised in Los Angeles. His contribution and influence on the art industry especially in the area by way of his tattoo and graffiti work eventually paved the way for the artists of the younger generation.

The style of the font used was also symbolic of the graffiti art that is usually painted on the sidewalks of the city, which was made possible by Korean street artist Royyal Dog.

With the new threads, the team is hoping that it will help bring them back to life after they failed to exceed expectations set around the team last season. They ultimately fell short against an unexpected foe in the Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference Semi-Finals.

The Clippers blew a 3-1 lead and eventually lost in seven games which disappointed basketball fans who were hoping for their showdown against the Lakers in the Conference Finals.

Their new City Edition uniforms will hopefully contribute to setting them apart from their hallway rivals and make their own mark in the city of Los Angeles for the years to come.
