There is no question Los Angeles Clippers owner Steve Ballmer is one of the most intense NBA owners out there. In the opening game between the two LA teams, Ballmer's passion was evident.

As he watched the intense game between his Clippers and the Los Angeles Lakers, Ballmer accidentally ripped his shirt from the elbow area while raising his hands.

For those who have followed Ballmer's tenure as Clippers' owner, his antics are not new. He has created a reputation as perhaps the most animated NBA owner out there.

He will not hesitate to let his emotions explode during a game.

The good thing is that Ballmer's ripped shirt did not go to waste. The Clippers won, 112-102, in the first of their many duels with the Lakers.

Kawhi Leonard led the way with 30 points, six rebounds and five assists. He showcased his mastery of the perimeter shot and maintained his defensive stance against the Lakers' offense.

Patrick Beverly, too, brought his trademark intensity and defense, which was critical when the Lakers were about to go on a run. And who could forget Lou Williams who finished with 21 points, seven assists, and five rebounds off the bench?

In their first game of the 2019-20 season, the Clippers proved that the hype is real. Not only do they possess a deep and talented team, but they are also ready to outwork their opponent as they showed in opening night.
