Shortly after Collapse's ex-girlfriend Maria posted on Instagram her allegations of cheating and abandonment. The latest controversy in Dota 2 has the 2021 TI champion embroiled in a scandal that puts into question his moral integrity. In an Instagram post, Maria alleged that Collapse changed when he won the tournament, growing cold and distant, cheating on her and leaving her when he learned she is pregnant. Expectedly, Collapse would not take such slights lying down. Collapse responded through Instagram Stories as well.

The Team Spirit offlaner also said that he has been trying to break up with Maria months back, even before he learned of her pregnancy. He did admit that they have been arguing a lot but also claimed that he has saved her from endangering herself in the past.
Collapse also shared his response to Maria's claim that he said that he won't see her again if she continued her pregnancy. He explained that they are too young to be parents (he is just 19), and they have both agreed to an abortion, but Maria continued the pregnancy in secret. Then, he claimed that his angry messages in Maria's screenshots were taken out of context. Ultimately, however, Collapse shared that he has agreed to take care of the child.
Collapse's responses have confirmed that Maria was indeed his ex-girlfriend, and that he indeed has been having problems with their relationship.
The player's team, Team Spirit, has yet to comment or release a statement on the issue, although we do not expect the organization to do this over a personal issue of one of its players, unless it ultimately leads to performance issues on the side of the player.
