The USA men's national team and Canada faced off on Sunday in a Concacaf Gold Cup matchup. As it turns out, the USA wasted absolutely no time and got on the board right away–literally. Just 20 seconds into the match the USMNT went ahead of Canada and sent the crowd into a roar.

Shaq Moore took the beautiful pass from Sebastian Lletget and made a perfect shot to put them on top early. Oh, and it was also Moore's first goal for the USMNT.

The USMNT beat Haiti 1-0 last Sunday and then beat Martinique by a score of 6-1 on Thursday and went into the match against Canada with all sorts of momentum.

Moore put them on top early in the Concacaf Gold Cup battle, although there wouldn't be much action at all in the rest of the half as the USMNT went into the locker rooms with the lone goal by Moore.

Moore's goal was also the fastest such goal in USMNT history at just 20 seconds into the Concacaf Gold Cup match.

A terrific start for the USA, and hopefully the early strike by Moore will be enough for the USMNT to beat Canada and continue their winning streak at the Concacaf Gold Cup.
