Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier are set to meet inside the octagon for a third time on July 10 at UFC 264 in what is sure to be one of the most highly-anticipated fights of the year.

But more than that, Poirier also wants to raise the stakes of the third match in their trilogy, saying that he wants their fight to be held at 170 lbs so that their three fights will be held at three different weight classes. McGregor, however, doesn’t seem to be interested and had a simple response to his rival on Twitter.

In their second fight last January at UFC 257, Poirier scored a second-round TKO victory over the former UFC featherweight and lightweight champion in a fight that was held at lightweight Their first fight, which was held way back in September 2014 at UFC 178, was held at 145 lbs and won by McGregor via a first-round stoppage.

Should a fight between the two happen at welterweight, it will be the first trilogy in UFC history to feature two fighters fighting in three different weight classes. Usually, their rematches are fought at the same weight classes as their previous fight, making this a potentially historic fight. Besides, McGregor himself has expressed interest in fighting at 170 lbs after calling out newly-crowned UFC welterweight champion Kumaru Usman following his stoppage victory of Jorge Masvidal as UFC 261 on Saturday.

In one of his recent tweets, the 32-year-old called out Usman for “copying his shots” before stating that he believes he will fight the champion at some point and that he “likes 170.” While Conor McGregor seems inclined to move up in weight to potentially fight Usman, for now, he’s got his eyes set at 155 lbs for his third fight against Poirier, even if the latter wants to make history with a third right in a third different weight class.
