Usually, a sign of a good team is their ability to win close games, and that is something that the Dallas Cowboys haven't been able to do. With the Cowboys' loss on Thursday night against the Chicago Bears, it drops them to 0-5 in games that have been decided by seven points or fewer.

They lost by seven points to the Bears, but it would have been a lot worse than that if they wouldn't have scored 17 points in the fourth quarter. The offense finally started moving the ball after struggling in the first three quarters, but it was too late.

After the game, former Cowboys quarterback Troy Aikman ripped just about everyone involved with the team.

“I don't know how you sell that if you're Jason Garrett or Jerry Jones or anyone,” Aikman said via USA Today. “When you have a performance like that to say, ‘Hey. But we’re still alive. We’ll go play this week against the Rams and it’s all right out in front of us.'”

“I don’t think the players hear that. I wouldn’t hear it if I were them. And this is on the players as much as it is on the coaches. They've got to be better. I’m not sure I’d even talk to the team this week. I'd just say, ‘Let’s go play next week and you guys figure it out.'”

The loss dropped them to 6-7, but they are still in good shape to make the playoffs. Even if the Philadelphia Eagles win on Monday night against the New York Giants, the two teams will be tied atop the NFC East.
