The Dallas Cowboys will enter the upcoming 2019 campaign with some pretty high expectations to live up to. With both quarterback Dak Prescott and wide receiver Amari Cooper — and of course running back Ezekiel Elliott — at the forefront of the team's offensive attack, the Cowboys are expected to not only win the NFC East division but also make a run deep into the postseason.

As Dallas gears up for next season, the 2019 campaign will notably mark the first full season and offseason that the aforementioned duo of Prescott and Cooper will encounter, paving the way for these two to develop quite a rapport.

“I feel like the only way to go is up with me and Dak,” Cooper said over the weekend, via Dallas News. “We just have a natural chemistry. That's rare, because you can't just combine two players, a receiver and a quarterback, and say, ‘Hey, just go out there and have a good game.' It takes the quarterback and the receiver, their skill-set has to match. And it just happened like that.”

In 2018, the Cowboys returned to the postseason after winning the NFC East, though the always dangerous Philadelphia Eagles also reached the playoffs by way of an NFC wild-card berth. These two teams are now expected to compete for the divisional crown come next season as both the New York Giants and Washington Redskins remain ways away from success with each well into rebuilding mode. Thanks to the presence of Cooper and Prescott, though, Dallas may have the upper hand early on.
