There was a video that surfaced in recent days that showed CeeDee Lamb, the standout rookie wide receiver of the Dallas Cowboys, partying with a large group of people. Despite the video being posted recently, it's been revealed that the video came from his collegiate days at Oklahoma.
Late on Friday night, Michael Gehlken shared that there was a video circulating on social media of Lamb partying with a large group. Of course, with the COVID-19 pandemic still going on, some people questioned the decision-making of the first-year wideout.
However, Gehlken confirmed that the video of Lamb partying came during his time at Oklahoma, hence why people at the party were chanting “Oklahoma”. Given that, it's evident that whoever posted the video was attempting to get Lamb in trouble with the NFL.
If Lamb were discovered to have attended a party with a large mass of people, the NFL would likely take action. At the least, the Cowboys would likely discipline Lamb for violating the league's COVID-19 protocols. With that being said, it doesn't appear that Lamb did anything that would warrant any punishment.
In his first 12 games with the Cowboys, Lamb has caught 59 receptions for 696 yards and four touchdowns. Seeing that he's recorded those numbers without Dak Prescott, and while competing for targets with Amari Cooper and Michael Gallup, there's a reason for optimism for his future.
Lamb has immediately stepped in and become a key contributor in an injury-riddled offense in Dallas. Even though there were videos over the weekend that displayed him partying, it's been discovered that Lamb was just doing what thousands of college kids do during their time in college.
