Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott was one of the biggest surprises in the NFL last season that saw him capture the Rookie of the Year.
Despite experiencing much success in his first year, offensive coordinator Scott Linehan believes that Prescott is aiming to improve on his deep throws in his second campaign, according to David Moore of SportsDay.

“He has had a great camp.”
Prescott had an impressive rookie campaign that saw him throw for 3,667 passing yards with 23 touchdowns to just four interceptions while boasting a 104.9 passer rating. However, the deep ball numbers were notably lower as he completed just 4-of-13 passes (30.4 percent) for 200 yards with one touchdown and one interception on passes thrown between 31-40 yards.
For what it's worth, he failed to complete his lone pass that went further than that distance. That said, Prescott has plenty of offensive weapons at his disposal led by Pro Bowlers Dez Bryant and Jason Witten that could certainly help in that regard.
If he's able to show improvement in this aspect of his skill set it could lead to bigger performances this upcoming campaign that may be needed to a greater degree in the first couple of months of the season if All-Pro running back Ezekiel Elliott's six-game suspension holds up after the appeal process.
