2017 has been a year filled with high expectations for the Dallas Cowboys. Unfortunately, things have taken a turn for the worst after their 27-7 thrashing at the hands of the Atlanta Falcons.

Things do not get any easier for ‘America's Team' either with a Week 11 matchup versus the Philadelphia Eagles. Although the Eagles currently have the league's best record at 8-1, quarterback Dak Prescott called this game against their division rival a must-win for the Cowboys during an appearance on SiriusXM NFL Radio:

“I definitely checked out the Eagles,” Prescott said. “(We) know what we're getting into, and they know what they're getting into. So, it is a big game. It's a huge game. And most importantly it's a big game because it's the next one that we play. Second to that, it's the Eagles. It's a rivalry, and they are leading our division right now. … If we want to make a run at winning this division, giving ourselves a chance to play late into the season, it's a game that we have to win.”

Prescott is certainly right about the importance of this game for Dallas. The Eagles have built a comfortable three-game lead heading into the final half of the season. If the Cowboys are to make a serious run at the division, a win this Sunday would be a good place to start.

However, that is easier said than done with Philadelphia quarterback Carson Wentz putting together an MVP-caliber season. To make matters worse, linebacker Sean Lee is expected to miss some time with a hamstring injury.
