With training camp still in full swing, teams have taken extra precautions to ensure that their opponents are not gaining any type of upper hand heading into an unprecedented 2020 NFL season. It appears the Dallas Cowboys are kicking things up a notch.

The lack of a preseason has made a number of coaches paranoid about the lengths other teams will go to gain some insight. The Cowboys are not leaving any stone unturned by having their players wear blank jerseys in practice, via Charean Williams of Pro Football Talk:

The Cowboys are practicing without names and numbers on their jerseys. The offense is wearing all white and the defense all blue.

Teams have provided fans with modest glimpses of practices in an attempt to keep them engaged while not giving away too much about their scheme. They have also made sure to hand down restrictions to the local beat writers covering training camp to ensure that certain information is not leaked on social media.

Although fans are not particularly pleased with the lack of content at a time when the preseason was supposed to be taking place, it is just another side effect of the one of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Of course, this is hardly a concern for head coach Mike McCarthy after taking over this offseason.

Despite McCarthy's recent arrival, expectations remain as high as ever for the Cowboys heading into the 2020 campaign. Whether all these preventative measures do anything to deter the scouting process or not remains to be seen, however, it appears to be doing a good job of providing coaches with some peace of mind.
