Wide receiver Dez Bryant has not been shy about voicing his displeasure with the way things ended with the Dallas Cowboys. However, he kicked things up a notch with his most recent rant on social media.
Bryant touched on a wide variety of issues that went wrong during the Cowboys' tumultuous 2017 NFL season. He certainly did not hold back when it came to the team's playcalling with his post on Twitter:
“Here we go with that scapegoat sh*t … i charged everything to the game and went the other way … y’all know what the real problem is … don’t put it on me with that bullshit.. garbage ass play calling.. Everybody lined up in the same spot for 17 weeks … “
It goes without saying that there were a number of factors that contributed to their down year. It is clear that Bryant feels the playcalling was one of them.

Their once-dynamic offense looked like a shell of itself following the suspension of running back Ezekiel Elliott. However, Bryant's struggles were evident even before Elliott's absence. That said, it would be easy to blame the playcalling as the reason for his eventual departure.
It has become evident that there is no love lost between Bryant and his former team. Dallas is looking to make it work with their makeshift receiving corps. Meanwhile, Bryant is still on the market despite reported interest from the Cleveland Browns.
Regardless, he will need to turn the page on his tenure in Dallas if he is to move on to the next phase of his career.
