New York Jets safety Jamal Adams is on the trade block, and Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott wants to see him make the move from the AFC East to the NFC East.
Elliott said he would âloveâ to have Adams on the Cowboys during an interview with YouTube personality Cameron âScooterâ Magruder.

The Cowboys had interest in acquiring Adams prior to last year's trade deadline, though New York elected to retain the All-Pro safety.
However, recent contract disputes between the two camps led to Adams requesting a trade. The 24-year-old has instantly become the most sought-after player on the market.
Adams himself even hinted he preferred to be traded to the Cowboys. The former LSU star caused a stir when he answered a fan question about coming to Dallas with âI'm trying bro.â

However, there is some skepticism as to whether the Cowboys will actually look to trade for Adams.
The Jets are likely to want a pair of first-round picks in exchange for Adams. But while Jon Machota of The Athletic said the picks might not be an issue, signing Adams to a long-term deal could be another story.

The Jets pick up Adams' fifth-year option for 2021, so he still has two years left on his rookie deal. But the Texan wants an extension soon, and a lucrative one at that.
Jeremy Fowler of ESPN reported Adams is looking for north of $20 million per year, well above the general market even for star safeties.

The Cowboys are also still looking to reach a long-term agreement with Dak Prescott. Plus, Amari Coopers is owed $100 million in the next five years.
Still, Elliott knows Adams is a generational talent at the position, one who can help the team win as they look to recapture the NFC East in 2020.
