Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott is going to meet with commissioner Roger Goodell on Tuesday to discuss the Las Vegas incident according to Todd Archer of ESPN.

Elliott was briefly detained the late May by the Las Vegas police after an incident at the Electric Daisy Carnival. In a video obtained by TMZ, Elliott appears to be standing in the way of a woman leaving but he doesn't place his hands on her.

Later in the video, Elliott has some words with a man wearing an “event staff” shirt and actually knocks him down. He was briefly detained by police but released without charges. After the incident, Elliott's attorney Frank Salzano said the situation was blown out of proportion.

“Security misconstrued and overreacted to the situation,” Salzano said via Yahoo.com. “He was cuffed as a precautionary measure. He was released with no charges. He left Vegas that night and went to his [youth football camp in Dallas] on Sunday.”

Even though was no arrest in the case Elliott could still be suspended under the league's personal conduct policy but it's unclear if that's what direction the league wants to take this.

Back in 2017, Elliott was suspended six games after being investigated for alleged domestic violence between him and his ex-girlfriend. He was never arrested for the incident but the NFL still decided there was enough evidence to hand out the six-game suspension.

If a suspension is handed out, in this case, there will probably be some pushback, especially from the Cowboys.
