Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is drawing high praise from his quarterback's coach Jon Kitna who thinks his throws look a lot like Warren Moon's. Prescott has drawn a lot of criticism from fans for his throwing but Kitna actually thinks his throw is an impressive strength.

“I had the chance to play with Warren Moon in my second and third year, and I feel like he throws the ball very similar to Warren,” Kitna said of Prescott via the Star Telegram. “It’s one of the tightest spirals you’ll ever see.”

Moon has always been known as having one of the best spirals and the comparison has caught many off guard, including Prescott.

“I didn’t know what to say,” Prescott said about first hearing the comparison from Kitna. “I’ll take it. He played forever. Hall of Famer. He can throw it.”

With all the criticism that Prescott has received in his career, it's good to hear that someone has faith in him and if the spiral has improved to be like Moon's maybe he can take another step forward this year.

No one has ever questioned Prescott's drive or work ethic, the knock has always been about being able to fine-tune some of the things in his game.

Prescott still has a long ways to go to reach the level of the Hall of Famer, but being able to throw as nice of a pass is a good start. Who knows maybe one day Prescott's bust will be in Canton, just like Moon's.
