Even Dallas Cowboys' linebacker Micah Parsons wasn't impressed with quarterback Josh Allen the Buffalo Bills performance against the Cincinnati Bengals in the Divisional Round. While his Cowboys were also eliminated from the playoffs, Parsons took some time to call out Allen and Bills with a fiery take.

Following their 27-10 loss to the Bengals, Bills' general manager Brandon Beane was asked about Cincinnati's roster construction. He noted that Bengals' QB Joe Burrow is on a rookie contract, and that it took time for Cincinnati to rebuild their franchise. Parsons gave Beane a taste of his own medicine, calling out the Bills for not following the Bengals' approach and signing Allen to a long-term extension.

“Besides Mahomes, every team in the final 4 QB is on a rookie deal and surrounded by talent! Mhmm interesting take,” Parsons wrote on Twitter.

In 2021, Buffalo signed Allen to a six-year, $258 million extension with $150 million guaranteed. However, Allen struggled throughout the postseason. He completed just 59.3% of his passes for 617 yards, three touchdowns and three interceptions. Allen also fumbled three times.

Meanwhile, besides the Chiefs – who have locked down Patrick Mahomes to a long-term extension, the Bengals, Eagles and 49ers all have quarterbacks on their rookie contracts. Cincinnati's Joe Burrow, Philadelphia's Jalen Hurts and San Francisco's Brock Purdy have been three of the most impressive QBs in the league this season.

Parsons is arguing that the Bills shouldn't have given Allen a huge extension and instead built a more complete team. He wasn't a fan of Allen's erratic play and thinks it hurt Buffalo in the long run.

Unfortunately, Micah Parsons has joined Allen as players eliminated from the playoffs. However, the next time the Cowboys and Bills play, Parsons is sure to have Allen's number.
