The Dallas Cowboys are sure hoping that franchise quarterback Dak Prescott can come back from his shoulder injury in time for the start of the season. After Prescott played just five games last season, the health of their star is of utmost importance.

Well, the Cowboys got a bit of news regarding Prescott's status for Week 1 against Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers– which is also the first game of the entire NFL season.

For the Cowboys' sake, hopefully he is ready by the opening night, which should be a terrific matchup. The Buccaneers brought back every single starter, and legend Tom Brady doesn't look to be slowing down one bit, which isn't a surprise.

But, the Cowboys have a lot of people excited, especially if Prescott can stay healthy and use Amari Cooper, CeeDee Lamb, and Michael Gallup to his ability. Ezekiel Elliott is also set for a bounce-back year, and the offensive line should once again be a tough group.

The NFL season is only a few weeks away, and a Tom Brady-Dak Prescott matchup on Thursday night football will be fantastic for everybody. As of now, it appears that Dak will be ready to roll for the Cowboys.
