In arguably the best game of the NFL season so far, the Dallas Cowboys hacked out a pulsating 35-29 victory in overtime against the New England Patriots on Sunday.

But despite getting the hard-earned win, Cowboys defensive end Randy Gregory wasn't too pleased. His bone of contention? An alleged cheap shot by Patriots center David Andrews during the final play of regulation (via NBC Sports).

“Just a dirty play, that’s all. I was laying on the ground I had my head laying on somebody’s leg or something and their center speared me in the neck. Me, I talk a lot during the game, I think that’s part of the game. There’s some people that need that aspect of the game to get going. But when you cross the line and start to do things like that it’s unfortunate, because I know him. We trained together pre-draft and we had conversations on the field. But you start whooping up on their O-line, which we were, me especially, they get pissed off so it is what it is.”

Gregory had a solid game for the Cowboys, registering two sacks as they shackled Patriots rookie quarterback Mac Jones throughout the contest.

While Gregory took care of business on the defensive end, star quarterback Dak Prescott handled the offensive end, tallying 35-of-51 for 445 yards and three touchdowns, punctuated by the game-winning connection with wide receiver CeeDee Lamb.

The Cowboys have now won five straight games for the first time since 2016 and will gun for a sixth consecutive W next Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings.
