The security guard who was knocked over by Dallas Cowboys star running back Ezekiel Elliott would like a sincere apology, something he says he never received.

Kyle Johnson, the security guard told KCBS-TV in Los Angeles that he wasn't injured in the incident, but the insincere apology he received from the former Buckeye wasn't enough, and he would like something that Elliott actually means.

“I wasn’t hurt or anything, but just to have someone that you looked up to shove you on the ground over a metal fence?” Johnson said via Pro Football Talk. “It’s not the biggest thing in the world, but really, nothing happened? I mean, come on. . . .

“I did get an apology from him. It wasn’t a sincere apology. He didn’t maintain eye contact. It didn’t seem sincere at all.”

In the incident that was captured on video Elliott was seen shoving Johnson and then after the incident claiming nothing happened. Elliott was detained and handcuffed during the incident, but no charges were pressed.

Even though no charges were handed down, the NFL said they would review the incident to see if it was an infraction of the NFL's personal conduct policy.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones didn't seem too concerned with the incident and said the two would still work towards a contract extension.

“The main thing is that I don’t see anything that needs supporting in terms of his status with us,” Jerry Jones said, via Pro Football Talk. “His status with us has not been impacted in any way. Frankly, I know how conscientious he’s been in the off-season, and that’s good enough.”
