With all these free agency moves, what was once thought of as impossible has become possible. Derrick Rose was traded to the New York Knicks, Dwayne Wade went to the Chicago Bulls , Kevin Durant left the Oklahoma City Thunder for the Golden State Warriors… and these are only a few of the free agency moves.

Wade's decision was to go home to Chicago, while Durant didn't even consider going home to Washington, D.C. Though Damian Lillard still has five years left in his contract with the Portland Trail Blazers, Lillard has gone the Durant way and refused to return to his own native home in Oakland.

After one fan tweeted him asking if he will be going home like other NBA players, Lillard responded with a “Hell no.”

This past season Lillard averaged 25.1 points, 4.0 rebounds, 6.8 assists, 0.9 steals and 0.4 blocks while shooting 89-percent from the free-throw line. The Blazers made it to the second round of the NBA playoffs this past season before being eliminated by the Warriors.

Lillard would apparently probably rather win a ring by defeating the team that took him out of the playoffs rather than joining forces with them.
