While some Los Angeles Lakers fans and their executives are likely salivating at the possibility of drafting Lonzo Ball with the No. 2 overall pick in this year's draft — point guard D'Angelo Russell is not one of those people.

Russell was a former No. 2 pick out of Ohio State in 2015 and while he's shown flashes of brilliance, his moments of glory are at times overshadowed by his disappointing performances and lack of consistency throughout the season.

The second-year point man isn't thrilled with the Lakers reportedly looking to add the Chino Hills native to the roster and he showed his disapproval by liking a tweet that praised his performances from last year and slights Ball as a draft possibility for the purple and gold.

Russell has been regarded as the point guard of the future for the franchise until Magic Johnson took over presidential duties, taking an aggressive stance and making sure to let fans know he'll do what it takes to put out a winning product on the floor.

While drafting Ball doesn't guarantee so, getting rid of a bright prospect growing into his NBA-self is not the best look for future hopefuls of the league, or any other non-superstar player hoping to remain with the team.

D-Lo liking this tweet is sure to earn him some heat, but not as much heat as Ball will get coming into the league, as his father has done a great job at making his son the No. 1 enemy on roster he ends up landing on.
