While DC is generally known for its films on Batman and Superman, there are several properties that have risen beyond obscurity to capture fans' attention. Shazam is one of them and its sequel, Fury of the Gods, is expected to follow its path. And while fans have one idea or two about it, a glimpse of the film at Cinemacon will have everyone talking due to an appearance of a major star in it.

According to a report by Screen Rant, the Shazam Fury of the Gods trailer shows Zachary Levi as the titular hero having dinner with Wonder Woman in Paris. Shazam then tells the Amazon that he can't commit, causing the latter to walk out on him. She suddenly stops, turns around, and it's revealed to be Shazam, the wizard who appeared in the first film. He warns Shazam that the daughters of Atlas are going after him.

As it stands, this scene was just a dream. Furthermore, it's not yet known whether Gal Gadot will make an appearance in this Shazam film, or a stand-in will be used.

Right after that dream sequence with Wonder Woman, the trailer then shifts to Helen Mirren, who's playing the primary antagonist for Fury of the Gods. At this point, Shazam tells her that he has seen all the Fast and Furious movies and it's all about family. This is a funny callback to the actress and her role in F9.

There have been several rumors pointing to Gadot's Wonder Woman appearing in Shazam Fury of the Gods during the past few months. Among them is Rachel Zegler, one of the film's antagonists, hinting that she has worked with the Israeli actress before the confirmation of their roles in the upcoming live-action Snow White film.

While the trailer doesn't confirm the actual appearance of Gadot, there's hope yet out there for her Wonder Woman to show up in Shazam Fury of the Gods. If that happens, the hype around this sequel will definitely shoot through the roof when it premieres in December of this year. In any case, the film is shaping up to be a fun and exciting project for Levi's man-child of a hero and his family.
