Dead Space Remake will be coming out on PC (EA App, Epic Game Store, or Steam), Xbox Series X, and the PS5 on January 27, 2023, at 8:00 AM PST. Players who have purchased the game on the Xbox Series X can already preload the game. On other platforms, however, specifically PC and PlayStation 5, preloading starts on January 25, 2023, at 8:00 AM PST. The Dead Space Remake is finally arriving at the turn of the new year in 2023. The classic sci-fi horror shooter game will get another lease in life, and hopefully, more from the series will get remade if this game launches successfully. The original Dead Space game was received critically by both critics and fans and spawned two follow-up games. However, the series quickly fizzled out when the second and third games didn't perform as well as the original. The support from a very dedicated community of fans never wavered, allowing this comeback title to return today. The remake will reboot the series, erasing the history of the initial trilogy clean, allowing for a new beginning for the series with this remade game.

The game is said to be remade from scratch, so while a lot of elements from the original will undoubtedly influence this new title, don't expect a 1:1 recreation. The game will actually be even gorier, according to Motive Studios in an interview with IGN, with upgraded dismemberment physics and improved zero-gravity physics. Also expect better audio, revamped level design, and an overall better finish on the game.
