Toronto Raptors‘ star guard DeMar DeRozan has had an incredible start to the season. He is currently the league's top scorer and has led his team to a 7-2 record so far.

And on Saturday against the New York Knicks, he continued his stellar play as he finished with 33 points, seven rebounds and four assists.

Not only did the Raptors win the game, but it also allowed him to join an elite group of players who have totaled at least 300 points in their first nine games of the season.

DeRozan has been on fire and owns averages of 3.0 points, 4.8 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.4 steals per game in the young season.

The Toronto faithful have had a lot to cheer about these days and with the 27-year-old USC product not appearing to slow down anytime soon, it would spell trouble for opposing teams.

The Raptors are geared for even more success this year and will look to be the biggest contenders of the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference. With DeRozan leading the way, it won't be surprising at all if they will own one of the best records in the league after the regular season.
